Allocation of Long Term Housing (No49) This policy deals with the appropriate and practical allocation of Co-operative properties.
Asset Management (No64) This policy establishes the approach of Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd (NGRHC) to manage property assets by setting an appropriate standard in partnership with Homes Victoria.
Bullying (No34) This policy establishes the approach of Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-op (NGRHC) to ensure that staff and renter-members of NGRHC are aware of their responsibilities and rights with regard to issues of bullying, discrimination and harassment.
Building Works (No4) This policy establishes the mechanisms for undertaking capital works. The Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that the Project Manager appointed by NGRHC is aware of this policy and the Project Control Group shall be responsible for ensuring that the Project Manager complies with this policy.
Business Continuity Plan In Response To The Coronavirus Outbreak This document sets out a plan to ensure Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative (NGRHC) continue to provide Community Housing services to renter-members across 58 managed properties supplied by Homes Victoria via a General Lease.
Child Protection Information Sharing & Family Violence (No63) This policy sets out the Co-op’s commitment to protecting all children in every part of its operation to ensure this is a child-safe organisation.
Code of Conduct (No45) The purpose of this policy is to identify NGRHC’s position on ethics and proper Codes of Conduct and to document those procedures required to ensure the operation of an ethical housing Co-operative.
Committee of Management (No43) This policy outlines The Committee of Management’s responsibilities including strategic issues such as defining the purpose of the organisiation and setting its direction.
Complaints and Appeals Policy (No33) This policy establishes the approach of Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd (NGRHC) to complaints and appeals in respect of housing, social housing applications and related services.
Eligibility for Long-Term Housing (No61) This policy establishes the approach of the Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd (NGRHC) to eligibility for its long-term rental housing program.
Environmental (No28) This Environmental Policy is intended to provide a framework in the development of a culture of
environmental responsibility within the Co-operative. It aims to establish effective procedures for a
number of sound environmental practices within the Co-operative’s operations.
 
Human Rights  & Equal Opportunity (No32) This policy has been designed to recognise human rights and facilitate the creation of a
workplace culture that values, and maximises the benefits of the diversity of its staff and
membership.
Information Technology Management (No35) This policy sets out guidelines for acceptable use of the computer network, including internet
and email. This policy applies to both staff and renter-members of NGRHC.
Meetings (No2) The purpose of this policy is to define a set of clear guidelines for all meetings the Northern Geelong
Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd (NGRHC).
Maintenance (No24) The purpose of this policy is to define a set of clear guidelines for maintenance work requests and outline a standard procedure to be followed for maintenance requests which consider environmentally sustainable and cost effective options.
Member & Community Engagement (No3) Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative (NGRHC) is committed to engaging with its members
and the wider community as a core activity essential to the viability of the organisation.
Occupational Health and Safety (No29)
The Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative (NGRHC) recognises its responsibility and the
importance of providing a safe and healthy work environment to all staff, renter-members,
contractors and visitors of the Co-op. NGRHC recognises that this is an essential component of their
duty of care and as such is responsible to uphold this standard.
 
Policy Development (No1) Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative (NGRHC) needs a clear process for creating, passing and implementing policy. Policy documents should be based on a uniform template, and policy documents should be compiled as a ‘policy manual’.
Pet Ownership (No60) This Pet Ownership Policy seeks to establish appropriate guidelines for renter-members
to obtain or keep a pet at a NGRHC managed or owned property. 
Procurement (No5)  This policy establishes the approach of the Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd (NGRHC) to procurement and the acquisition of goods and services.
Privacy and Information Sharing (No31) This policy sets out how Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative (NGRHC) collects, uses and discloses your personal information.
Tenancy Management (No62) This policy establishes the approach of Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd (NGRHC) to setting and collecting rent in its affordable long-term rental housing program.
Risk Management (No30) This policy is to ensure all Co-operative staff, renter-members, Committee members and contractors are aware of their responsibilities for identifying risks and for communicating controls and procedures for
preventing and reducing risks.
Security (No27) The purpose of this policy is to determine areas within NGRHC where security is required, and to determine the appropriate processes for implementing security.
Staff Induction & Performance Review (No37) The Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative (NGRHC) recognises that staff and members of the Co-operative work together best when there is ongoing communication.
Travel & Reimbursement (No23) This policy establishes the approach of Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd(NGRHC) to reimburse travel and other associated out of pocket expenses incurred as a result of conducting the normal business of the Co-op. The policy will outline a procedure for reimbursements.
